Data Deletion Instructions — DM Social Control

Dependent Media stores the minimum Facebook data needed to post blog teases to your Page on your behalf: your Facebook name and user ID (from Facebook Login), a Page-scoped access token for each Page you’ve authorized, and the Page ID / name. We do not request or store your Facebook email.

Option 1 — Revoke via Facebook (automatic deletion):
Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → find “DM Social Control” → Remove. Meta notifies our server via a Data Deletion Callback; we immediately delete your stored Facebook user record, user ID, and every Page access token we hold on your behalf, then return a confirmation code you can look up at this page by appending ?code=<code> to the URL.

Option 2 — Request full deletion by email:
Send a message to [privacy@dependentmedia.com] from the email associated with your Facebook account. We’ll delete your stored Facebook user record, Page name, Page ID, and any cached access tokens within 30 days and confirm in writing.

We do not retain analytics, engagement data, or any personal information beyond what’s needed to authenticate to your Page and publish posts you have approved.
